The core facility was founded in 2005 to provide a professional background of animal experiments and promote best practices of humane care, use and management of animals involved in medical research at the Debrecen University. We advance the development and acceptance of high standards for the responsible use of laboratory animals and accurate and reproducible animal experiments. The Laboratory Animal Core Facility is administratively responsible for all animal care resources and the purchase and care of all laboratory animals in the Life Science Centre.
